Lennon is a small agricultural town located in Shiawassee County. Founded by Peter Lennon in the early 1880's who got the Grand Trunk Rail-road routed through the settlement and later became the first postmaster. Lennon is located on 576 acres with a population of about 511 people. There is one streetlight, restaurant, post office gas station, auto shop, grocery store, bar, insurance agency, library and the largest land ornament capital of America. It is a commuter town for both Saginaw and the Flint area.
