Romeoville is an up and coming family village. It has a great mix of older and new homes as well as great shopping and industrial businesses. Our neighborhood was a fast growing town back in 2004-2008. Everyone was looking to move out to the burbs. Then the home bubble burst. But Romeoville has still kept growing with new shopping areas. The town has put in new parks, and update older parks. they are taking down old strip malls and building new recreation centers. We also have many new shopping strip malls with the most popular anchor stores. they are building a new Sam's club. Also in our town we have many huge industrial warehouse buildings that many new business are coming to do business in our town.
The subdivision we just moved into in July 2012, is new construction and it has been steadily building new homes every since we moved in. A lot of new families are coming to Romeoville. There is so many new opportunities in romeoville.
![Redford, The township was initially created as Bucklin Township in 1827. Due to postal regulations prohibiting two post offices having the same name, when the township was further subdivided unique names had to be found.
