My husband and I just moved to Rolling Meadows, IL, a northwestern suburb of Chicago, back in June. It's a quaint town with friendly people and great schools, this is the reason for our move. The houses in this suburb are perfect first time starter homes and go relatively fast. Finally, after many months of searching, had found our perfect little quaint home. The biggest selling point was the huge back yard and at the time when we looked, it was covered in snow. We had no clue what was to come as the snow melted and plants started taking over our yard. We are not only first time home owners, but yard illiterate (if that even makes sense). There is so much going on, between a zen garden, over grown weeds, two vegetable gardens and a mound of flowers planted right in the middle, we have no clue where to begin. On top of it all, we have a baby coming into this family of 4 (including two furry friends) and would love a dream back yard not only for us and our two dogs to enjoy, but our growing family.
