Augusta is known as the Garden City. We have a thriving medical community as the state's Medical University is located here. The Savannah River provides one of the borders of our town and South Carolina is just on the other side of the river. It is a beautiful city, full of history. We are also home to the Augusta National Golf Club, which hosts the Masters Golf Tournament each year during the first full week of April.
