Lake Burton is located in Clayton, GA in the NE corner of the state, about two hours outside of Atlanta. The lake is home to a great collection of multi-million dollar lake front homes within a rural, modest mountain community. This area was hit by a tornado in April of 2011. While a lot of the clean up has been completed, the long term effects are still present and clean-up still continues.
