Often called "the bubble" or a large cul-de-sac, Ahwatukee is surrounded to the NW by the South Mountain Park, to the East is the I-10, and to the South is the Gila Rive Indian Community. Receiving about 12" of rainfall annually, an temperatures ranging from the mid-60's to the low-mid 100's for highs, with lows ranging from the high 30's to the high 70's throughout the year - it's rare to see snow here. The mountain park provides plenty of trails for hiking and cycling, while the parks offer outdoor sports such as volleyball, soccer, baseball, as well as our golf courses. Fun fact - Larry Fitzgerald, Todd McFarlane, Dave Krieg, and Mark Calcavecchia reside in Ahwatukee.
