Moncure is a very small town just south of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. There are small pops of new housing communities along with old houses on large lots. Moncure spans the southern tip of Jordan Lake and many residents comment south to Fayettevill (Ft. Bragg, Sanford, east to Raleigh or north to Chapel Hill. I like to classify it as a 'hippy' and 'farmer' town stuck back in time!

Located about an hour from Daytona and Disney (depending upon traffic and if you believe in speed limits it's not had the prosperity of most of Central Florida. Though it's a quaint historic downtown area attempting to reinvent itself, one of the appeals is it's just good people. Great fireworks at the lake, ZooM Air zip line, historic baseball field and gator available in local restaurants (tastes like chicken.

North seattle neighborhood. The neighborhood is on a hill called Queen Anne which give close proximity to the city and still has a neighborhood feel. Planning a yard has been very difficult due to the slope. With a newborn we want to have a yard for her to grow up in.
