28 miles south of St louis MO off highway 55 on the Mississippi River. It has beautiful views of river bluff and of the Mississippi. The photos are of what is left of my backyear after the spring rains. The straw and grass seed the builder put down now look like dry river beds. I need help.

One of 7 villages of Barnstable, Cape Cod...rural setting...lots of conservation land abutting the yard. No ponds or ocean views...just a normal back yard that was trashed for Title V requirements for sale of home by previous owners.

Small suburb outside of Austin. Area is being hit hard by the drought and water restrictions along with nearby forest fires. The trend has become xeriscape, but knowledge and materials for high heat and drought resistant landscaping is hard to find! Another common challenge in this area is the rocky soil. Our backyard has about 6 inches of topsoil at most before hitting solid limestone. Weeds are the plant of choice.
