Rio Rancho, NM: Buried in WEEDS!, We live just north of Albuquerque, NM in an older, established neighborhood just inside the city limits. We have a high desert climate here, Zone 7. Lake Mary, Seminole county is the bedroom community of Orlando. My husband and I live in a corridor of expensive homes with each house on one acre or more. My husband lost his job 3 years ago and we had a house fire 11/2 years ago. We lived in a hotel for 13 months. Our home is situated in the woods next to a nature preserve. We do not live in an upscale community but are surrounded by them. It has been increasingly harder to tame our one acre. The house needs so much improvement on the outside, deterioration and paint and with no income it is harder and harder to get the work done. My husband was in his given profession for 29 years and was 55 when he lost his job. You may notice that the front looks pretty good. See the herd of deer walking through our front. We have wild turkeys, fox , sand hill cranes and all the lovliness of living in the country but we are only 3 minutes to I-4 and 5 minutes to Home Depot. We have lived in this home for 21 + years., South
