        french country comfy, This is our living room.  I was going for a french country look.    I am debaiting on painting with some color, but don't want to loose the open airy feel.  Any suggestions?, Living Rooms

        Master Bedroom with a "Coffered Canopy" Bed, Thirteen years into my marriage, my bedroom finally made it to the top of my To-do List. I had been tweaking and redesigning what I wanted to do for years. I've always loved coffered ceilings and canopy beds. I came up with this design all on my own and combined the two. I built the platform bed and mounted boards with trim on the wall. I made a "U-shaped" coffered piece for the ceiling that slid in above the wall pieces and attached to blocking on the ceiling with screws. I covered those screws with crown molding. I made the side table out of spindles from my son's old crib., Bedrooms
        My oasis , Backyard patio & flower garden - my source of daily inspiration.  A project that's evolved over the past 9 years, with perennials and annuals, trees and shrubs, hardscape and softscape. Currently adding some whimsical elements, e.g., colorful "garden cats" plus a "bicycle" plant holder, lots of chimes, etc. , Patios & Decks
