Need some ideas...., I am in need of redoing my kitchen...I have a very small budget....I am tired of it being so dark and dreary i would love to brighten it up a bit...Any ideas/suggestions would be great!!ETA: Can't do anything to the dining set (great grandmothers set) Backsplash is the fake brick....not sure if husband would paint the knotty pine at least one wall in the each room has knotty pine on it. , Kitchens
"Royal Suite" Guest Bedroom, The wall color doesn't photograph as clearly but they are a wonderful lavendar. I change the antique quilts frequently and enjoy the variety. There is a small bonus room attached which I have converted to a reading/relaxation room and have removed the door. I'd like to make the opening into an arch in the future and install bookshelves. The lace curtains aren't up yet either. I bought the plaque at an antique shop which is how the room got it's name!, Bedrooms
Shabby Chic Guest Bedroom, The walls are a wonderful blue so the contrast with shabby white is outstanding. The carved wood panels from Bali were originally doors to a kitchen which I had painted off white and hung as the headboard., Bedrooms
Master Bedroom, The soft green walls are very restful. I have very simple treatments for the windows but haven't gotten around to putting them up. , Bedrooms
Kitchen and breakfast room, The mini -chandeliers replaced canned lights over the island and are on dimmers which gives a nice effect., Kitchens
Dinner at the Roundtable, The bright light is a wonderful contrast to the mustard walls. Getting the mirror on the wall was the most difficult because of the ceiling feature!, Dining Rooms
