Help!! We built our house 12 years ago, we put neutral colors throughout. Gray carpet, white walls, and oak trim. It is in need of color!!! Don't know what colors to paint so that each room will blend. Decorator's we are not. Someone please help paint my house!!!
So, I have decided after a few years that I'm tired of the white wash walls and it's about time to paint my house. We've started a little bit, We ask people what they think of it and they've said they liked how it looks, but to me it looks like it just doesn't work. I've uploaded some photos I'm really not sure where to go from here. I'm wanting to try and keep from having to redo everything, what I was thinking was to add some painting effects to the wall to add more interest to it as well as make it less dark and hopefully make it work well with the light green. Thanks DIYer's for any help that you may have for me.

The walls in my kitchen/dining room in my modular home are thin vinyl coated panels with ugly vertical strips covering the seams of the wall panels. I want to remove them & paint the walls. How do I do this?
Repurposed a dresser to entertainment/Storage unit. Painted it in the hot Texas heat. Paint is now tacky and sticks to anything put on it. Is there a way to fix it?

We are wanting to paint our great room. The problem is the ceilings are 18 feet high and we're not sure how to paint them or what to do. We're looking for suggestions.
This kitchen/ combo dining room is a wonderful large space with great cabinets and a beautiful built in desk/pantry. I love the dark cabinets, and the hardwoods. I am unsure of the white tile the builder chose, and it is still up in the air on what colors I should do? Please help! Give me your ideas!
