We have a 13' by 27' living room with 17' ceiling. I would like to hang a chandelier however most of them seem too small for the space. Is there a ratio to room size guide to select the correct size lighting?

After I called in help, my electrician noted that the lite switch install would be easy and I still haven't figured it out. Can't figure out how I ended up with 5 black wire for two fixtures- sink lite and exhaust fan

I have a series of empty Moroccan lanterns hanging from the ceiling in my living room. I would like to be able to turn them all on in one step (flipping a switch or plugging something in. Does anyone know of a product that would give the look of real candles and allow me to space the lights as needed? As you can see from the pictures, the space between lanterns is more than the standard distance than most strings of lights have. Thanks!

I have an outside spot light that has two switches, one inside the basement out door and one at the top of the basement stairs.
I want the switch located inside the basement out door to be the dedicated switch and remove control from the switch located at the top of the basement stairs.
The switch located at the top of the stairs also controls all lights in the basement. How can this be done?
